Hi storm! It's so good that you joined us. I remember being very exhausted and 'off' when I quit drinking. It's perfectly normal, but it will get better and easier. You'll have hope once again. Stay with us.
Welcome! I just found this place and it's great. It's nice to have support at your finger tips. I feel your pain I just went through a very long and difficult W/D. Everyday gets better, everyday I have a little bit more energy. Try to get out and do something, its amazing how it takes your mind off it. Easier said than done, I know.
The tiredness and lack of motivation seems to be really common for us - I felt the same way. It really does get better. I tried to look at it as part of the healing process and just accept it...... better to be sober and a little lazy than stress myself out trying to do it all.
Glad you're here - congratulations on 8 days!!

Welome Storm, i'm on day 8 too and have been sleeping odd hours, sometimes tired, sometimes up at all hours of the night, if history repeats itself, I'll go through a time where i can't sleep at all, so if your tired and can sleep, enjoy it while you can. same thing with the motivation, once the lazy ass-itis wears off, the white tornado kicks in, lots of ups and downs
The tiredness does pass eventually but in the mean time, just go with it. Sleep. You probably need it. Exercise will help of course but if you don't feel up to much don't beat yourself up about it x
