It's Friday!!

Yippee, it's Friday, and what a difference a week makes!
This time last week I was in a complete tizz, overwhelming cravings for alcohol, and so very close to caving in.
This week I'm positive, happy, looking forward to my weekend and planning lovely relaxing things to do.
Nothing is going to stand in the way of my new life.
It feels great to be free!! X

Sober sex, that's something I'm looking forward to. I've always been on opiates when I had sex. Getting off was a problem at times, now I'm afraid I'll have the opposite problem!

Dispatches, I know your pain. Me an H were both messed up on opiates, to differing degrees, and it does crazy things to your whatnots Trust me, it all works out xx

Jen, this was your happy Friday thread - I really hope all this is putting a smile on your face lol. Oh, and never hope for Billy to make the breakfast...

You can count me in.

My Grandma made them all the time when I was young. My Dads side is from the south, I know all about Southern cooking

My Southern accent likes to jump out every so often

Epskie - grits are a kind of thick porridge made from coarse ground corn common in the American South. They're a staple of Southern cooking and a common Southern breakfast and side dish.

Part of the reason is that both my teenagers announced they're out tonight so me and H have got the house to ourselves....!!

Now how am I gonna concentrate today?!?
