That first week is usually the worst. FIGHT!!! It will get better. Try to keep yourself occupied. I am lucky that my hobbie is also my profession. I learned seventeen new songs in three weeks. That took up my time...

Probably the most important lesson I learnt here was not to dwell on the past. Something I tend to do alot. I try to find ways to blank out the thoughts of regret and shame anytime it surfaces. I realize that my emotional state was more from thinking about my reputation, the money I spent, my health etc etc. We can't change the past, however, we should learn from it...

See? You're helping me too... I'm giving advice...
