Introduction Hi everyone my name is Adalie and I am 21 years old. I have spent the last month working on my recovery and have decided I am ready to reach out and join this site. I have been struggling with heroin addiction for almost 6 years and finally had an eye opening experience that made me realize I deserve more out of my life. I have decided this time around to not count days since in the past the number day I was on became an obsession that didn't allow me to work on myself spiritually or look towards the future. I have been looking around on here for a couple weeks and want to say that I am really excited to have found SR :) People that haven't experienced addiction don't realize that nothing is as easy as it seems. I need people that I can vent to without having to explain why something is an accomplishment. * Adalie |
If any people on this earth understand, it's us. I'm an alkie myself, but I totally "get" addiction, for sure. Welcome! I'm glad you're here. :) |
