Six Months.
I reached the half year milestone today with six months under my belt. I've had my struggles but in the end, I've over came them. I have been challenged and had my struggles, but I've overcame them. The first week was my hardest, since I was a daily drinker, quitting suddenly was a shock because after work was "my" time. I lived in a bad situation too when I quit, I lived with roommates and if any of you ever lived with bad roommates, you'll know how frustrating it can get. However, I stuck to my plan to quit and as the weeks went by, it got easier and easier.
Be proud of your own recovery and keep at it!
I look forward to meeting the new comers and I look forward to seeing everyone's progress on becoming a sober and happy person!
