40 Days of Light

40 days since my last drink, 28 days after leaving rehab. I feel, act and am so different sober. Life is so much clearer and focused. I feel so much better physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I've experenced this before, the heaven of sobriety, the hell of intoxication. So why do I relapse time and again. I guess alcoholism is a form of insanity. This time may I stay sane. I have no desire to descend back into Hell.
