At last:)

I have been to my second AA meeting today, after nearly 3 years of drinking heavily since my Dad died .I have already felt the warmth and support of the community of like minded sufferers, and am glad to be able to access this support several days a week nearby

What brought me here was a realisation that my drinking was spiralling out of all proportion, and I was about to probably lose my boyfriend because of it

I am looking forward to sharing other peoples' expereince and hope to be able to help others along the way too

That's the most perfect description of AA that I've read. I'm so glad you decided to go and that you're getting sober.
