Happy Sober Easter and Passover!

My first sober one in years. And all of my husbands relatives are about to descend upon us. My husband is already walking around with his 3rd beer. Every time I see him with a drink (which is often) I get sad because I've asked him so many times to pls get the alcohol out of our home and not to drink here in front of me. He flat out refuses, which to me shows how very little he must care for me. Or maybe just that he is an alcoholic, too.
I'm in AA, but at the suggestion of many here I have been reading Rational Recovery" and I'm loving it! Today I will put into practice both principles. I need it all. So I wish you all a very happy holiday and am so grateful that SR exists. I never drink-and I will never change my mind. One Day at A Time.

Congrats & It's first sober Easter in decades, although at ~200 days it's just any other day as far as drinking is concerned. It's too bad about your husband not understanding or willing to take it outside, but we are the ones who have to get past the sights and smells. Best Wishes & Happy Easter.

Looks like we both try the belt and braces approach.

Congratulations Eliasson - it's hard getting over the holiday hurdles, but you're doing it.
