Thank you for you support last night.

I could not even reply thats how bad it was. I did not feel any anxiety. I felt like my heart would explode. Just after 2 energy drinks I felt so cold and could not move from sofa. This was the worst I have ever felt, worse than hangover.

Im glad Im ok and please don't drink that crap. Its better feel sleepy that take a sip of that poison.

Your at Day 69 sober....Your body is ajusting to Normal nerve reactions.

I had to cut out several things that were affecting me after giving up Drink and Tranqualisers.

Red B...Full of Caffeine....never again
Strong Coffee....never again.
Too many.....Eggs...Chocolates....Bananas....Tomatoes. .. Most Sweets.... Give me Stomach aches or worse Palpatations of my heart.
When I was Druging my Body I never knew I was allergic to these things.
Cheers

There is something in tomatoes. Im not very keen on them anymore. I used to eat them everyday, not any more.

It is an awful feeling, to be sure, and the anxiety they bring just spins into more and more anxiety, as you experienced. Glad you felt better and bet you won't be doing that again! I used to love Red Bulls--I actually really like the way they taste. But they rattle my fillings with all the caffeine and BS they put in there...plus they are sooo expensive. Money better spent elsewhere on healthy food.

I like red bull, but I drunk something stronger. Its sugar free, but too strong. Will not buy that one ever again.

Coffee is organic and natural energy drink. I will drink that.

i have always had about 5-6 cups of high octane coffee in the morning, but learned that noontime was my cut-off in order to sleep at night. i hate the taste of green tea, but i have the capsules to take if i need a boost. these are fairly inexpensive and one does the trick.

glad you feel better. try to drink a lot of liquids today to flush your system.

Usually it says to only drink one of those drinks a day.

I drink one Red Bull a day. If I drink any at all. I like my coffee as well. You've just had a bad reaction.

Heck, during the worst of my drinking, a typical day would go like this:

Wake up hungover. Grab a cup of coffee. Wash it back with a hand full of ephedrine. Get cranked to shake off my hangover. Drink 2-3 energy drinks plus ephedrine throughout the work day. Get off work, drink copious amounts of alcohol to sleep. (Or use some sort of sleep aid like Nyquil.)

Rinse, and repeat. Day after day, after day!

I did this for about a month straight, and I swear I was on the brink of a nervous breakdown by the end of it!

Yeah, I'd say I've come a long way since those days! HAHA.

Bottom line though: I feel energy drinks are okay in moderation. Use them according to the directions, and you should be okay. If you are intolerant to caffeine however, I'd strongly advise against taking them.

Good luck with your recovery, and I'm sorry you had to go through that!
