Have I destroyed my imune system?
 

I quite taking opiates for pain issues a month ago after 15 yrs, and have never been so sick with colds, sever sinus infection, headaches etc. Will my imune system ever me strong again & when?

That would be a good thing to discuss with your dr.

For sure, see your doctor. Is it compromised immune system, or, like me, do you just feel what being sick is like now, the physical aspect not being dulled by drugs or alcohol?

I still have a hard time figuring that one out 18 months sober.

Have you spoken or seen your doctor? Have you researched opiate withdrawal? It mimics flu symptoms. Please call your doctor for an evaluation!
