Fortunately I'm not working so at the moment I can catch some rest during the day but I'd sure like to get a good night sleep in bed with my husband... Not being hard on myself though..my body is healing and I have to let it do it's thing...;-)

I couldn't sleep if my life depended on it the first week. It got a little (very little) better the second. In the third I was finally able to depend on getting a full 8 hours and wanting more, it just wasn't always at night . So I am hoping that this fourth week I will start to develope more of a regular pattern. Of course after a couple of weeks I am going to be on shift work again so I will be screwed, but I suppose that is where the sleeping whenever part comes in handy.

Take comfort in knowing that this is just part of the process. It will and does get better. Hope you are able to get some rest later today.

Yeah the sleep is funny, but at least if I dont sleep, if I wake in the middle of the night, it isnt with a hangover. I can then make that time positive, and read a little , or listen to the radio, have even been known to post on SR too.
Take the positives , I find that helps

This made me smile. I remember right after my son was born, and nursing around the clock on the sofa. I think I watched re-runs of re-runs! Take care Anew.
