I don't want to sound all preachy or anything, but since I quit drinking, there have been many many little miracles happen in my life. I have started praying alot lately. I always used to pray... but I was drinking then.

Has anyone notice this with their quits?

Example of one is, I put an ad on Craigslist asking for some FREE help with a couple of things that I can't do. Man things. Like getting my generator to start. I want to sell it. I don't use it. Then, I can't get my JD lawn tractor to start. It turns over but won't catch. I don't know how to fix that. It has been raining alot here and the grass and weeds are growing. Plus a couple of other odds and ends. I won't have any money for another 10 days or so.

I was just sitting here a few minutes ago and said a prayer out loud to please send me someone to help me.

I go to my email box and there was a new message. It was sent minutes after my prayer. A man wanting to help me. He's sounds normal. Older (like me) and married. He is retired.

So, please be on the lookout for your miracles. To me, that is a little miracle.

Yup, I believe you, and preach away!
I have had many small but significant miracles.
They are helping me along on my journey.
The double paycheck last week, after I looked at my account online and just handed it over to my HP. (handed the empty account over, lol)

Muffin, I think the trick is, as you mention, to be looking for the miracles. I realized that miracles had been happening in my life while I was drinking, but I didn't see them.

SugarBear... thank you but don't worry. I have huge dogs everywhere. One not so nice guy that ONLY likes me. He is 125 lbs.

I think I will be okay. Some times you just have to trust.

Also, I have a locked gate. Dogs are roaming all night. But, you are right. I do need to be cautious. Not drinking will help me make that judgement.

Hi Muffin, Double Yes on miraculous happenings due to the power of prayer. They seem to happen all the time these days in such frequency that I call them IBMs no not a nuclear weapon but (itty bitty miracles). Watching and tracking them for two years now and have found several different qualities of them.

#1 As a indicator to keep the faith or a well done.

#2 A opportunity to recieve spiritual help from someone because it seems that GOD/Spirit world does use people as worker. This happens mostly without them knowing and sometimes consciously.

#3 A opportunity to help another in my own quirky way.

I have missed some opportunies to translate signs due to self will and fear but with daily reflection some of these do get taken away.

For unbelieving readers please don't judge I am not a split personality disorder person, religious nut nor a zealot
But life has been rearranging itself for me.

Keep you eyes and ears open. You are not alone to be sure.
