getting back on track
Hi everyone,
My name is ashley, I'm 26 yrs old, and I'm addicted to benzos. Klonopins are my drug of choice. I abused and depended on them for 8 years, and then in October 2010 I couldn't take it anymore and went into detox.
I got sober until a few months ago, when I let a really stressful job get the best of me. I started having terrible anxiety and began taking a pill here and there to feel "normal" and get through my work days.
After I quit that job, my anxiety and depression spun out of control, and I started using almost every day again. I know that I need to change the way this is heading. I'm 3 days sober now and have a better outlook, but I definitely need more support. Hope this can help me..

I have no experience with benzoes personally, but I know others here will chime in.

Welcome Ashley!
I know how it is with those thoughts "maybe just one or two won't hurt." We me and alcohol, I always ended up in the same place as before, regretting it but not being able to stop.
I'm glad you're here - this has been my main support for almost 2 years and I'm so happy to be sober again. Glad you're wanting to take some action before it gets worse!
