Day 20 and the grass is already greener
Literally. It is. I just noticed that today. Noticed things I didn't bother paying attention to in the past. Birds chirping, sea gulls squawking. I don't miss the oxys and what I let them do to me.
Thinking much more clearer and feeling more motivated at work. Not putting things off for another day, just getting things done and being productive.
It's a great feeling.
I'm withdrawing from benzos my doc started prescribing me 14 years ago. Ativan .5 mgs three times per day and Klonopin, 1 mg at night. Haven't taken the Ativan in a week or so and have been cutting the Klonopin in quarters.
Trying to take things moment by moment and to stay in the present as opposed to the past and the future. That's hard to do. I have to catch myself doing it and remind myself of the present moment I've been blessed to have.
