I've been to a meeting with vodka in my cup. That's how hard I was trying to quit this last time. I've never been 'drunk' at a meeting, but I have used before,during and after meetings. Glad that nightmare's over!

it happens. the hard part comes after- if the person drove themselves. sometimes they accept a chauffer from someone in AA. sometimes they dont. the ones that dont are hard- we have a bit of a duty to protect the public,even if that means calling the police if someone gets behind the wheel drunk after a meeting.
