A sad night
I am so very sorry for your loss. My son is an addict and I know the pain of watching someone we love destroy themselves and wish I could just give you a big hug of comfort. Thank you for bringing his story here, it may just save someone's life.
My heart and prayers go out to you and all who loved this man.

I'm so sorry for your loss, but thank you for channeling your grief into something that will help and likely save others.
At 60, I've heard a negative voice telling me it's too late for me to change. However, your strength inspires me to keep striving for a new life. Thanks again.

Thoughts and prayer to you.
I'm so sorry you have to deal with all of this. I understand. I want to suggest that the autopsy might reveal something scary-vomiting blood is a sign of something serious. We do a lot of damage to our stomach and esophagus while drinking and that blood is a sign of damage.
I wish you well in this time of grieving. You sound strong. Please keep coming back here, we need you.
Love & hugs,

I am very, very sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine your grief ... losing someone to alcoholism is so very tragic and so unnecessary. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, as well as my gratitude for your having the strength and the selflessness to post this for all of us to see. I don't think it's a stretch to say that you will probably save the life of at least one person with this post. Bless your heart. Take care and I pray that God gives you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
With a heavy heart, I cried as I read your post, and I am so sorry that this has happened. I am amazed at your strength and love for others, displayed by taking the time to post your story in the hopes of givng others strength and very possibly saving lives. He was lucky to have you...your are very compassionate. Bless his heart. This disease is relentless. Thanks again for taking the time for writing us while in such pain. Heartbreaking.
I am so sorry...... I can only imagine your pain. Thank you so much for posting this. As others have said, many will be touched by it. I shared it with my 19 year old daughter.
My thoughts and prayers go out to you today, for strength and for peace and healing. This is such a cunning, baffling and powerful disease.

I'm so sorry your husband could not conquer his demons & succumbed to this terrible addiction. May you have comfort & peace knowing he's not struggling anymore.
And by your strength & courage to help us who may be on the same path to make new choices to save ourselves & loved ones from this needless pain.

Lifewithouthim - I can't imagine being unselfish enough to come here and post about this when you're in such pain. It's a wonderful way to honor your husband.
I cried when I read the news, & don't know what to say that might be of comfort. Just know that we are with you, sharing in some small way your terrible loss. Thank you for your kindness and compassion for those who still suffer with this soul destroying disease. Please do come and post here often - we want to help if we can. Sending love out to you and your family.
