This helped me a lot: breath deeply and slowly through my stomach. I keep my focus on my breathing. I'm doing this and .........what! The alarm is going off!

I am seriously thinking about it. I have the schedule now. I hope I can drag myself there soon.
I am a bit worried though to be recognized. I would not be in this situation now if I would have done my recovery well the last time I was there 12yrs ago .
Wow, when I think about now it makes me real sick. I was happy and grateful but I got involved in relationships immediately and dated 6 members during the 4 years I was in those rooms. They all had over 2yrs recovery and they hit on me right away.
I felt so popular and needed and wanted and that is where I went wrong.
I gave up my sobriety after my last break up there. I just kept drinking after that until I fell in deep depression and then the pills were prescribed and I was labelled and this went on until my liver started popping out and here I am.
I cannot believe I am saying all of this but somehow it makes me feel better.

So sorry to hear all that. So many like to pray on the newcomer. Hate it. But the one good thing is really sounds to me you have learned and can only grow better now.

Best wishes.

"I do not know how to go to bed"

stand up, go to bedroom, put jimjams on or whatever, get in bed, close eyes ...hey presto! your in bed! lol
if u sleep, u sleep. if u dont , u dont ...but after a few nights of little or no sleep you will soon be that shattered you'll be out like a light! and then sleeping re adjusts back to normal without the need for booze, done

I'm glad you feel better today Clors
I think it's really important you fing a way forward now - whether it's AA or something else - so I wish you luck with that.

Action is everything really.
