I went to the grocery store today...
For the first time since choosing a sober life. I walked down all the aisles gathering groceries. I saw the liquor and beer aisle and my heart went to my stomach! I usually buy mixers/beer/etc. on grocery day. I couldn't help but feel the same panick that comes with seeing someone on a motorcycle. I can't help but think of all of the pain and loss from my brothers death when I see someone riding a motorcycle.... AND FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY I SAW IT WITH ALCOHOL!! Needless to say, I didn't buy any.... And my grocery bill was a lot cheaper!!
