Thank you to Dee for all you do I would just like to thank Dee74 for all his hard work. You devote so much time to helping others. You always know the right thing to say, when to say it, & how to say it. You gave me hope when I had none & courage to fight. I don't know if you get paid, but you deserve a 6 figure income. You have a hard job, yet you do it wonderfully. Someone called you the Alcohol Whisperer. So true. You are vital to SR & thank you for all that you do. You have a gift & I'm glad you chose to use it here. I know I appreciate it & I'm sure others do, too :You_Rock_ |

Alcohol Whisperer. I love it and it rings true for me when one speaks of Dee. purplecatlover...I think it is great that you took the time to start this thread; speaks volumes about you, too...:) |

Agree, agree and agree :) |
As they say back in L.A.; you're the man, Dee :) Mike :) |
I was going to start a new thread, but this one seems fitting. I just got back from an appointment with my amazing supportive doctor. We of course spoke about my recovery journey and how well I'm doing. I told her that SR and all the people on it are a huge part of my success. A wonderful, supportive group that feels like a little family to me. She was so impressed with what I told her about this little gem of a site, that she is going to recommend it to other patients who are struggling. So yeah, I concur with this shout out to Dee and everyone else who gives hope to those that need a soft place to land. |
Dee - your patience and compassion are what sets the wonderful tone here at SR. |
Everyone here is awesome & works hard. Thank you all. I remember struggling my 2nd weekend & I said " I hope I don't cave in" Dee said " Don't hope.... Do" That just stuck with me. Resonated in my mind & got me over that major hump. Thank you Dee for those 3 little words that has given me over 2 months sobriety & a new zest for living :) |
Ditto to what everyone said. I love it here!! Dee I like the new avatar, you and St. Peppers! |
Dee just always seems to have those "magic words." What a gift to all of us. The entire staff here is amazing; all very compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. We are all incredibly blessed to have them. |
I too like the new Avatar. Thanks Dee and the SR gang. It is like a family, isn't it? |
Dee is amazing. He always knows just the right thing to say. |
I too appreciate Dee and his Muppet Avatars. He can even tolerate a nut job like me. Technology is a great way to easily find resources. In the old days two alcoholics drove from Chicago to Minneapolis in a snow storm to help a guy. Now it's just click a mouse. |
