I might be moving to Chicago in the fall. I was wondering if anyone on here lived in the city. If so, how's the AA fellowship there? I'd assume there are a lot of meetings as it's a big city.

I know meetings on the South Side. Not sure where in the city you are moving to though.

I lived on the North Side of the city for a long time. There are many, many meetings in the Chicago. Of course, there are many places to drink also. Overall, the AA fellowship here is very strong.

I would be living in the gold coast/streetersville area or somewhere outside of those neighborhoods that is a little cheaper maybe.

this makes me happy. i live in sf now which sounds about the same...lots of meetings and lots of places to drink. i'm used to that kind of environment.

I live in Chicago's NW suburbs and there are a lot of good meetings and good people.
