Big Difference

Almost exactly a year ago, I was in the midst of a big binge. I was a living zombie. I would go through the motions all day, just so that I could drink at night again. What a difference a year makes. Today I got up early and went on a long trail run. When I checked my Garmin GPS after the run, I logged about 8 miles, and 1,500 feet of vertical ascent. I was proud of myself, and also proud for how far I've come. A year ago, I would have not been able to do this, even if I was being chased.

Believe me, if I can do this, anyone can. Have a great day everyone!!!!!

That's really cool Ethos :). I too look back at one year ago, in horror, so thankful for my sobriety! We have many more wonderful years to come...

Coming up on one year. The binge I was referencing went on a bit longer than expected.

This is wonderful news Ethos. It amazes me how we justified that insane way of living for so long. Never again.
