Hello everyone! It's been one week since I drank last and all the withdrawals seem to be gone. My head is clearing up a lot and I don't feel sick. I almost feel like time is moving in slow motion and it's very comforting and calm. Now that my body is fighting back I need to get my mind involved in the fight more so my plan is to attend AA this week... as many meetings as I can. I'm also going to look into some volunteer work to try to keep my mind focused on good things. My brother has been sober for about 4 years now always tells me "It will only get better" and "JUST GO". I find when I listen to his advice it usually helps. For everyone struggling and feeling like you just can't quit -- YOU CAN! You are worth it... you may have done a lot of damage but you're still alive and you're loved! It might not feel that way right now but time can change everything and life will just keep getting better!

Congrats Jobei! So proud of you! It does get better. There will be some down days but they start to even out. It's soooo worth it!
