Day 21 was tough!

Maybe I'm trying to do too much all of the sudden. I had all these places to be and stuff to do but I just got confused and overwhelmed even though everything was just fun.

I had something of a melt down and just really wanted a drink. I mean, a real desire. But I got through dinner without and got home. Cancelled our later plans.

Off to bed soon. Hoping tomorrow is better and less of a stress inducer.

Night SR

Missy I had "attacks" on and off for the first few months. They were quite intense and in the end I figured my emotional system had to recalibrate itself. It seemed to happen after events where I had to "work", in that I had to have my wits about me, if that makes sense.

At times going and lying down is the best option.

Anyway pleased it is all going well for you.

Good job not drinking! Heres hoping day 22 is a better one...

You are not alone. I have 2 bad days a week lately (day 42). For me the bad/meltdown days always occur on days that I slept bad the night before, or where I was maybe stretched too thin on that particular day. So getting a full nights sleep and keeping each days schedule as manageable as possible aren't just obvious, they are absolutely key.

Also, reaching out to someone in AA, a loved one, or a confidant can really help turn the tide in pre-meltdown, for me at least.

Sorry you had a stressful day and glad you got home sober. I am still learning how to do more/better sober. Self-care is key for me, including lists to remind me. HALT is a good technique for me.

Sending spring forward energy to you for a happy battery recharging day.
