Went to my frist meeting last night.

I can't believe I was scared about going. I had myself worried for nothing. It was not as bad as I imagined and I'm going back tomorrow. Today I'm going to enjoy a fun filled sober day with my kids.

Just be careful about going to too many meetings. It's easy to burn out.

Good for you Chiyo

Perfect example of how fear of the unknown stops us from taking those steps to get what we need. Glad you're going back. AA helped me a lot.

Glad your meeting went well. Don't forget to start reading the Big Book too.

I was a little worried when I read that also. Thinking that maybe I shouldn't go often or whatnot. I decided that everyone will give me different advice and I should just find what works and go with it. I connected with a few people at the meeting, felt very welcomed and I will continue going.
