I just found this forum and very excited. Nice to see a place I can be real with other addicts in an private way.

Well I just wrote my first blog...lol... I am going to document my detox in hope of helping me avoid a relapse.

Starting tomorrow morning life is really gonna suck for a while. Coming off oxy is not fun. Kicking weed and alcohol as well this time. I decided I can't pick and choose my dope.

Any advice on makes less hellish are greatly appreciated.

Reading your stores really inspires me to succeed. Thank-you to whoever put this forum together and the people who run it.

Seeing a Dr if you're concerned about withdrawal is a good idea too, especially if you're withdrawing from a few things?

Welcome timetoflyclean...Good to have you here..I'd like to keep it that way...I think I'd check with a doctor for a little assistance on detoxing from that mix...Just to be on the safe side..

Thank-you for the welcome. I have a Dr Appointment Tuesday morning. As well a friend who has clean time to come stay with me 24/7 thru the hard part.(She's gonna drag me to meetings every day..ugh)

Yup...Im scared. But I detoxed once before in detox. This time I want to detox at home(my bed, my bathroom), I have the same meds they gave me in detox .

That's good....You have someone with you...You've done it before...I hope you got the meds from a doc....And don't uhg the meetings...Go to them...Try and listen....Maybe you won't have to do this again...

Great idea to start writing things down...... (wish I'd done that). It's hard to recall the bad stuff sometimes. And we all know how our addictions love to trick us.

You'll have a whole new life - you'll be free. Keep thinking those thoughts when things get a bit stressful. It will be so worth it to be rid of the things that are poisoning your life.

Thank-you everyone. I did not sleep very well last night up a few times with the sweats but so far it's bearable. Can't wait to get to the other side...and really live.

I miss being clean sooo much I am more than willing to suffer to get there.
Tomorrow I go to a meeting with my girlfriend, yes I will listen. She said I don't have to talk yet but going would help me get thru this. I now know I cannot do this alone.

Time to have faith.

Thank-you for the support I really need it. My son just came over to visit. I told him I have the flu. I can't bear to hurt him again. Thank god he moved out on his own and is oblivious to the fact his mother is coming off dope right now. This has to be the last time.

Hot/cold...it's getting worse.....

Yes I read the warnings and it's great to see this community stick together. To the predators out there...I'm not your girl. I have no time or money to give you I only have time for real addicts like myself. I hope to learn thru other addicts during this difficult time.
