Taking that next-right-step........especially when it's not something we necessarily want to do but something we know deep down we need to do almost always works out well for me.
Things like that are where faith starts to build upon. Don't forget, you were afraid, didn't wanna go....but you took the action and things worked out fine........better than fine, actually.

I think it's kind of cool you ran into two people you knew from '06...The one going strong probably jumped in to AA right after rehab and the one coming back is probably ready to...Go get em FRH...

Hi FRH! Your so going about this the right way. Sounds like you have surrendered. Sharing at meetings and talking with the others is definitely what helps me most. I'm glad you declared that you want happiness as well! To quit drinking is not enough. We can be happy too if we work for it. We were just talking about emotional sobriety last night in a meeting!
