FWIW, I'm certain most of the people in AA would welcome even me back if I ever decided to go back. I do occasionally run into people from the program in public venues, and they usually ask how I'm doing, or say they've missed me, etc.
Saphira, I'm new here and probably haven't met you but I wanted to tell you I'm proud of you!
I too was nervous about my first meeting as I'm not the most social animal on the planet but I swear I have never met more lovely people in my life, and the bonus is they think like I do!
I still have to kick myself in the butt to go to a meeting but I'm always happy that I did, they make me feel better every time, even if I'm feeling OK to start.
Have fun with it, I'm sure you'll be fine.
