Sober life, new place, i amazed myself
Well I just posted down in the relationship section, when i was feeling a bit down earlier about my loneliness, which happens from time to time. But i got to thinking about it and i did a lot of good things yesterday with my day off. Things i would not have gotten around to if i had been drinking. I just moved into a new place and i actually set it all up yesterday!! (except for the kitchen lol)
I hooked up my desktop computer
I mounted my two ceiling fans and wired them up
Put together my new TV stand and mounted my TV onto it
Hooked up my surround sound and ran all the speaker wires
Got my internet up and running (which took forever having to call Comcast lol)
Hooked my Xbox back up
Hung curtain rods and curtains
Got the rest of my exes stuff back to her
I feel like i accomplished a lot yesterday. Tonight id like to set up the kitchen then i will be close to finished with the apartment.
I wouldnt have done any of that stuff if i had been drinking, when i lived in my old place for 4 months i only got as far as thumb tacking the curtains over the windows. Glad to be proud of my new man cave! lol thanks for reading

That's awesome Doesn't it feel great just to sit down and admire what you've done? I have been much more active around my house since I stopped drinking too. Got my bedroom closet painted and ready for new rods and shelves and, I swear, I am such a dork but I sat on the end of the bed admiring it for like 20 minutes, lol!

Thank you all... ya being productive feels great.... now i gotta get to the 1 year AA dating thing so i can hang out with some ladies lol... i guess until then its guys movie nights ***yawn*** j/k
