Detox and rehab costs? Can anyone give me an idea of what it costs for detox and rehab? Or maybe pricing on both? I don't have insurance and if I can't pay for it, then I'm hosed. After tonight, I know I can't do this alone. |
I don't know about other states, but AZ has an "Access" program. Its insurance threw the Department of Economic Security, they also deal with foodstamps/ebt.Alot of people aren't eligable here anymore (they really cut benefits the last couple years) but if your state has a program like that I would suggest applying. They may be able to help you wiht insurance,or at least an emergancy type insurance that can help/completly pay for detox..Possibly rehab. I went to a 7 day detox in 2005,and the access thing covered it.But it wouldn't cover the costs for rehab :/ Definatly check out any local/state help you can get.If nothing else, its worth a shot.Good luck to you! |
i do not live in the states or anywhere near florida, but a quick google search turned up this list of low cost options. somewhere to start anyways. can't post links yet, but search google for "florida detox low cost" and it's the first result. |
There is always the Salvation Army. They make you do some work to pay your way, but otherwise, it is essentially free. Salvation Army Florida - Adults Rehabilitation Centers |
So if you spend 50k for rehab then drink again do ya get your money back? I can see medical detox but rehab....no way. I think it's a rip off. |
AA is free and there are other options available. You might want to call some rehabs and ask if they have "scholarships" which would be rehab granted to you, free or low cost. Many have sliding scales, too. I wish you the best! |
It cost me approx $8500 for 35 days...just to give you an idea. |
My 90 day rehab in 1989 cost $325. I needed the "intensive care" of in-patient treatment to get me kick-started. Wishing you the best. Bob R |
There is a program in NY that is 21 days @ $5,400 |
15-day in-patient detox/rehab in Alabama was mostly covered by my insurance (I was out of pocket a little over a thousand bucks), but they also had several lenient payment plan options for people without insurance. |
