yeah josh- lots of anger in my 4th step- i even took some 'mementos ' out to the back 40 and just shot the hell out of em with an ol lever action 35 rem i had lying around..

Butthat same long long weekend, i also wrote a 3 part poetry piece from some one else's point of view. was one of my best written works... And i got my head around the fact that my perfectionism was just another example of my subjective- control-of-others behavior... which was a family of origin imprint.. and i understood that that chain could stop with me.... powerful.

Also- your 12 step group may find "The NA Step Working Guide " to have some value. I know a few long time AA sponsors who use it. And. ironically, i have had a couple NA sponsees who find it better if we work the AA Big Book fourth step. Cool.
