Stages of alcoholism?

I am new to recovery. I originanally quit on the 3rd of February...had a slip up a week later and have not gotten drunk since.

I've read threads where people talk about early and late stages of alcoholism. How are they defined, or do people kinda sorta throw terms around loosely?

I only know that I have had stages of different levels at different times and they could always go back to the beginning stages of the 4 horseman if I am not careful and keep my Sobriety Protected....
