Got promoted, then fell HARD
I worked the steps by admitting my alcoholism, was willing to believe in a power greater than myself, and by making a decision to allow that power to take care of me, then I worked steps 4-7 with my sponsor, and this is where I found my higher power; the changes that occurred within me were unbelievable!
I'm happy you are working the RR program! Keep staying stopped and move forward! Peace,

Well done Mwstylee.
As an atheist myself, G*d and HP's are meaningless to me. As I maintain my sobriety, one thing I can not do is have it revolve around meaningless stuff. I did a lot pointless things in my active addiction and I don't want to carry that over into my recovery.
I like the AVRT of RR. It gets straight to the point about recovering from addiction. As a LifeRing member, working on my recovery has brought about marvelous changes within the deepest of my being.
I'm glad you found something that will help bring about wonderful changes into your life.
