270 days, give or take. Lately I don't really notice not having alcohol as part of my life anymore - although I was acutely aware for the first several months, it doesn't call to me like it once did. Made it through my mother's funeral three weeks ago dead sober, which would have been unimaginable only a year ago.
30 years, 8 months, 18 days,
June 7, 1981
that is 11,220 days
I can honestly say that my very worst day sober has still been at least 10 times better than my very best day of my drinking career, which was over 24 years.

Almost 4 months here - I'm not even sure of my exact sober date, I'm trying not to dwell on it too much.
I just finished my first karate seminar - 6 hours of straight training! There's no way I could've pulled this off physically or mentally while still binge drinking.
Many thanks to everyone here at SR. This place has played a substantial part in my success.
