Blood Sugar Shakes Bringing BacK Bad Memories
 

Didn't sleep doing a super protien drink getting better but the shakes were one part of my addiction I hated and feared the most. When I checked into ER long ago I couldn't hold the pen to sign my name. Before that when I'd buy a bottle of booze I couldn't code in my PIN number. Alcoholism is so fun. Protein working feeling better but hate the shakes unless they are milk shakes

I agree. Shaking is a strong wake up call--too bad I never started shaking BEFORE drinking. Maybe on the first drink--it would help me see. It's always after. The desperation is always after the stupidity.

But I'm glad that you made the connection and are able to reflect.
