Username-what does yours mean?
Some are more obvious than others
A few people have asked about mine, so I thought I'd start a thread.
I competed in Ironman Triathlons before I had a kid and became a fat mom. My racing bike is an Orbea brand. My bike even has a name...Senior Miguel.
I would love to get back to working on me. I want to ride my bike again. It's carbon framed. I don't want to crack it lol.

I was locked out of my former email account by my android phone which didn't accept my password, so multiple passwords and the fact that that email account of 18 years was my memory, I couldn't give enough info to get back in. It held all my passwords......My brain was so foggy, I found easy words to remember! my new email is 3 simple words, sugarbear is/are 2 of them!
Baby steps will lead into bigger steps and bounds. You are well on your way.

Loudog = Louie Dog of Sublime (Brad Nowell's best friend). Died of a Drug OD (Heroine). I was a pretty big fan back a few years ago.
430 = My birthday, April 30th. It's pretty much an old username.
Mountain biking is fun. Ugh, I wish I didn't have to drive so far to work because I'd love to ride there. (googlemaps say it would taker >2 hrs to get there via bike)

When I first joined SR I was the username Luckyv2
The Lucky was my Dog at the time, V for Victor and the 2 was together forever.
When Lucky died I asked the group here at SR if Lucky would be upset if I changed my user name to my new dog Chance. They assured me that it would have been a honor to Him. May Lucky RIP

The expression "terminal uniqueness" or "terminally unique" is not indigenous to the world of addiction recovery, but is quite commonly used therein. I had one too many rehab 'gurus' say to me "What do you think you are? Terminally Unique?" This is my response — to them and to anyone else who might ask.
Glossary of AA Terms — Terminally Unique
AA and Terminal Uniqueness
Sober Recovery Google Search — Terminal Uniqueness

Indamiricale. "I need a miracle" From the Grateful Dead
Was really detoxing and couldnt type let alone hardly read. So didnt see the spelling till later and now I like it. Good reminder.
For it was a miracle I truly needed and received

Proud to say I'm one of the few who figured out "Orbea". Mine - well not so creative, but highly descriptive. I'm a thinker. I rationalize everything. Alcohol though - it got my thought process caught in a loop, I just couldn't rationalize through anything while i was drinking. Hence - Mental...Loop. For those who use Microsoft Excel, think circular reference.
Ps Orbea, I have 2 Specialized Roadies..A Tarmac (tight race profile), and a Roubaix for longer bumpier rides.

My gma changed my CB name to little golden hair because I didn't like the one gpa gave me....he refused to change it but I never forgot her touching my hair calling me little golden hair......I was born in 73.....silly reason. I know!
