Help!!
My brother is a alcoholic and has committed suicide 3 times in the last 6 weeks. He is in a hospital but they have him on topamax, depakote and seraquil. I am looking for a holistic hospital..any suggestions
So sorry for your pain as well as you brothers. It seems he has a lot of demons to deal with. I don't know much about the holistic approach although when I have question like that I trust the handy dandy Google.
On here people are not aloud to give any sort of medical advice because lets face it we are not Dr's and we could do more harm than good.
From my own experience though working with clients with mental health issues it is not wise for a person who is clearly not a Dr to mess w/anothers meds. Dr's put people on these for a specific reason. There is some sort of chemical imbalance going on and only certain meds will address those issues.
So again I warn anyone who is not qualified please leave it up to the Dr's that are. You can do your part and pray.
Hope all works out.

I just stumbled on a dual diagnosis treatment center called The Canyon. You might look at their website. He may be too unwell, but no harm in checking it out. Also affiliated is Michael's Place.
I hope your brother finds some relief. I've been there myself 4 years ago.
