It was like looking in the mirror! Strange as hell to see someone walk in to the meeting in the same shape I was in a couple of times. She really looked like she was worn down and desperate. Really the first time I've seen such a genuinely desperate person come to my home group in a while. Really takes you back.

I'm glad she had the courage to go because I think she walked out with all kinds of new friends. while I still struggle I'm tons better than I was last May! Hope you all are having a nice relaxing sober evening.

My co-sponsor was the first guy to take to a meeting. And like his sponsor and his before him. Hey had me follow the tradition of shaking every single hand in the room .

So glad I learned that right away, now its all second nature.
