Thanks. I still question my ability to reason and to read (etc). At 9 months sober, I am just seeing things a little more clearly and noticing little things. I don't want to even think about the things I've missed in my life due to being hazed in the brain! Although that was my former goal.

Yea a beer and later in the day a mixed drink would be considered by some health care personals as low risk drinking for one day of alcohol consumption. Bump that up to 3,4,5 drinks in a day and a person is risking health compilations from alcohol abuse. Then consider binge drinking where one can consume 6, 12, 24+ drinks in a day. At that level of drinking serious health issues can accumulate as would happen to someone that drinks alcoholically.
