I do not drink today because I've had enough drunk days in the past to last me a lifetime. No more. I can screw up my life by myself, thank you very much. I certainly don't need alcohol to accelerate the process.

because I want to enjoy mt time off of work CLEAR headed (and I got stuff to do that i would never do hungover).... and go to sleep to a full nights rest at the end of the day

Because my family loves the new me. Up before them in the morning making breakfast. Because I enjoy enjoying the day. Because the sidewalk needs a snowblow, because my daughter has swim lessons, because I have deadlines at work, because I hate headaches, because I love sleeping in my bed again as opposed to one of the couches, because I need to live life like a normal human being. I could go on but that covers it this morning.
