Needing to understand my boundties/limits

Was in a convience store today and a guy came in who could barely walk and bought like an 18 pack and it broke my heart but what can I do, I can barely take care of myself, but it still was painful

It is sad - but none of us are superheroes.
I'd just focus on you for now Fitz.

Later on, when you're ready, and if you want to, I'm sure you'll be able to do a lot for others

D

I've been that person buying a case when still drunk. It's sad but no one could have made me stop. I had to do it myself.

Its sad...and from my experiences being the buyer or just standing behind someone in line...after all the years I've drank, after all the years I've entered a liquor store drunk or otherwise, I have never seen a clerk refuse a sale to a customer. I think more addiction counselors should be store clerks in disguise.
I have empathy for that man...he knows he shouldn't, probably wished he could stop...but can't.

I remember going to the store right when they opened to buy booze. It felt so wrong, but I did it anyway.

God bless.
