Partial hospitalization or inpatient?

I am having this battle in my head. I don't like the idea of being away from my girls for an extended period of time but if I was would I be better for it in the long run? I have literally been going over this for hours! So I guess my question is has anyone had any success with a partial hospitalization program?

Hey Megan! That's a tough decision. Have you spoken with your doc about it? What does he/she say?

I haven't yet but I need to form some sort of plan here. My daughters deserve better than they are getting from me.

I have no experience with either, but I think speaking with your Dr is a good idea.
Hope you get some feedback here too

For me, in-patient was the only thing that could give my children a father again.

I missed my kids a lot but I focused on why I was there and made sure I gave it everything I could so I didn't have to go back.

That was February, 2011.

There are many reason in-patient works but if you aren't willing to give yourself a 100 percent time-out to get better and only worry about your family it's worthless. I've seen many cases of each.

I'm glad you finally recognize you need to make a change.
