Just got elected secretary of a meeting :)

Yay for AA commitments! Just wanted to share this with you guys. I am a bit nervous seeing as I will have to find a speaker for the meeting each week. It's a 6 month commitment...so if all goes according to plan, when I'm done with it I will have a whole year sober. SWEET.

I live near SF.

Congrats though, I just started my first secretary commitment too, but mine is a discussion group, I don't have to get speakers.

Good stuff. Being the speaker seeker will mean you'll go fishing in other groups and get to know many more local AAs. And get to know the quality of their willingness.
