Not only am I stopping the pills today, I'm going to my first N/A meeting today at lunchtime. I am surely nervous about that. I've been so anti-social for so long now, I'm not accustomed to being around people, much less a room full of strangers talking about something I've been hiding for years. Wow, just thinking about it makes my stomach tighten up and my palms start sweating.

Good for you!! And remember many of those people in that room probably felt exactly what you are feeling right now the first time they went.

Oh my gosh I am so proud of you. You will hear something at the meeting you can relate to. Try to look for similarities instead of differences. It took me a long time to feel comfortable in meetings.

Hang in there Gal, everyone who goes to meetings has had their first meeting. It gets easier the more you go and get to know people.
