Fought the urge
Fought the urge
Gnight to all of u. Have blessed dreams and stay safe! Tonight was a close call for me, but my lemon water and cleaning cabinets sure helped. Can't wait to finish the rest of them tomorrow. Time to snuggle with my babes fora hopefully solid slumber!!! Till we talk tomorrow, peace out!

Tonight has been a real test.... I always looked forward to a few glasses of wine after working late on Tuesday's. I ate dinner instead. Swept the floor and now I'm watching teen mom.... How innocently pathetic!!! Lol I am dealing with some extremely stressful situations and once again, my husband isn't very supportive, I mean, he likes to point out my mishaps and stupid behaviors when I drink, however he isn't exactly always on board when I say I want to stop, let alone actually do.... Yes I have been on and off this wagon for about a year now..... Thank goodness he is out of state right now..... Ugh.... I honestly am scared of what is gonna happen if I take that first drink, so I'll stick to my lemon water and welcome day 5!!!! Rest well everyone!!!! Peace out!

Something that was drummed into me early in recovery was that cravings always pass if you can do whatever you can to wait them out. Even if you have to go minute by minute. And it does tend to get easier with time. Wanted to put that out there for all those struggling with these strong cravings initially.
I was never sorry that I waited out a craving.
