I am so happy that I found this site!! Today I made the decision to stop drinking!! I would love any advice you have for someone like me!! Thankyou!!

be good to yourself get some treats (sweet stuff is good your body will want it ) get some support and enjoy the start of your new life.

Well, you seem excited and positive, which is a great start. And rightly so, because while it takes some work, it's incredible to break free of alcohol's gravitational pull. :)

My advice is to hang out here, read a lot, and post. Works for me!

Welcome Lind! You'll find loads of encouragement and helpful advice here, from people who understand just what you're going through. No one else in my life got it, so my friends here became very valuable to me. Four years later, I still visit every day & couldn't do without SR. I hope you'll feel the same. :)
