AA gives a special chip for this. I'm not in AA. I'm thinking of buying myself a special ring to remember one month of sobriety. I am getting out of the house a little more, but still need to find productive things to do in the evenings since every night I used to drink and watch shows. Haven't watched one tv show in 1 month either.... Bizarre how when you give up an addiction, the activities associated with it go out the window too.
Great job on your accomplishment! Thanks for sharing with us.
In time the activities you enjoyed while drinking will come back to you, and if your like me, you will remember what programs you watched the night prior.
Once again congrats on your four weeks!

One month is a great accomplishment for any of us. I was AA and made a special visit for my one year brass coin. A ring is a good idea. You can order a coin of your own if you like too that is not AA! Here is one you can engrave as you go for each month abbreviated in the engraving blank area. Like D J F M A M for December January Feb Mar Apr May. $14.95 click here: Sobriety
Alright!!! Hats off to you my friend! Hitting that 1 month mark is such a good feeling! You did it, and I bet you feel 1000000x better now than you ever did drinking.
I believe those first 30 days are the hardest for more people. Some will get a few weeks into sobriety, and then relapse simply because they believe they can get away with it. People think "eh, I'm only a few weeks sober. Ill go have a drink and start again tomorrow." Always in that constant relapse battle, but never actually making forward progress. But not you my friend! You stuck to your guns, kept the ultimate goal in mind, and toughed it out because you absolutely knew life would be better sober. That alone deserves the up-most acknowledgement!
So heres to you my sober friend!! Keep those sober days a coming, and life will change in way you might not grasp now. But you will
