Hello all. Im Nicole....Up untill 2 years ago I was a social drinker, if even that. Maybe twice a year. Then my ex beat our daughter with a belt and the kids were taken away. Ive only seen my 8yr old twice in a year. I do have my 15 yr old back tho. I spiraled way out of control, spent thousands gained 40lbs and did so much Im embarassed by, its unreal. I decided to quit before the new year and feel alot better even lost a few lbs. Im hoping to face the challenges this year will face sober. I hope I can make it.

Hello and welcome aboard Nicole!!!! I am so sorry to hear about your 8 year old... I hope you two are reunited very soon! I couldn't stand a day without my girls. Ever since they came into this world they have sparked in me a desire to recover from my active addiction. I have been sober for 37 days and plan on staying sober for the next 24 hours.
This place is a great way to start your NEW life. SR is like a first line of defense against our addiction. Here you will find support, info and most important someone that will listen to you. Just know that whatever happens in your life you DON'T have to drink again! Have you considered going to AA meetings?
