No big story. I haven't had a drink since December 17th, not sure how many days because i'm not counting them anymore. At first I found myself almost obsessing about it, thank goodness that has passed. I am aware that I have a problem, and determined to keep it under control. Shut up AV~!

I have so much energy and feel great! Can't be drinking every other day and taking care of an 11 month old. I'm too old for that. I value the way I feel and the way I take care of my son way more than I value alcohol. My marriage has even vastly improved since I quit drinking. Only good things.

Love this site, I come here everyday as a daily reminder of how I felt about one month ago.

That's great raqbord - congrats on your sober time, too! I'm a lot more patient and positive as a mom since I've gotten sober. I don't have little ones anymore, but I remember!
