It..
It starts out as an idea
It is introduced to us by everyone around us sometimes even our parents
Its actions can never be remembered
Its lessons can never be learned
It calls to us through our friends and co workers
It lures us in with promises of good times
It calls to us from buildings lit with neon signs and sounds of laughter
It makes us feel warm and loved at first
It helps us forget while it slowly gathers strength over us
It lies to and deceives us
It takes our love, our soul, our passion
It finally takes our lives
It is not living
It is existing
It is not what we intended
It is what I am not
It is not over
but
I am me.... and I am not it.
Day one in 2012 3/4ths done.. Hope everyone had a great 1st day of the new year.
