I'm new, just saying hello
Hi, I'll be known as Beets here in this forum.
Basically, I am here for two reasons.
1. I am a recovering alcoholic. Sobriety Date November 2, 2001.
2. My Fiancé is a active addict and I am hoping to be able to share some of my experiences that I have had and to also gain some support from this forum in regards to the difficulties have I have faced.
I plan on reading a fair amount of the information in the threads, though soon enough I will probably post a thread of my own. That way I can feel like I am able to unload some of the heartaches that I have and get some healthy responses from people who can share their wisdom, experiences and hope.

Welcome to SR, Beets. Congrats on 10 years of sobriety—that is a huge, and I bet you have a ton of insights to share.

Welcome I for one am glad you decided to join us, anyone with that many years of sobriety on thier belt must have learned a thing or two. Sorry about the Fiance but I am sure someone here will have given some advice that you will find usefull. I don't have all that much experience with any situation like that so can't help, sorry. I just wanted to say welcome.
